Homework Newsletter

Homework will be sent home on Monday as a packet.  It is to be returned on Friday at school. If we are not at school on Friday then Thursday will be the day that students are required to return their homework packet.  Students are to complete the homework and place it in their folder to be collected and checked at school.  Homework is a practice of the skills that students are working on in the classroom. It is not meant to be challenging but a task the students can complete mostly on their own.  Students recieve incentives for completing homework and bringing it to school.

Math homework will be from our math program.  Students will recieve extended practice sheets to review the concepts that we are working on that week in the classroom.

Reading homework will be from our reading program Journey's.  Students will recieve extended practice on early literacy skills that are directly linked to the content they are learning in the classroom that week.
