3rd Grade Teacher

Room 215

Welcome to 3rd grade! This is my 27th year teaching elementary school! My teaching career began when I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Illinois Wesleyan University. I later earned a Master of Education from Xavier University as a Reading Specialist, and a Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership from Northern Kentucky University.

I love teaching 3rd grade!  Over the years, I have taught in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms, as well as Computer Lab Technology and Math Intervention. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, reading, running, and doing yoga.

With my husband, two children, and three dogs, I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. My oldest daughter attends Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She is majoring in Middle School Education. My youngest daughter is a Sophomore Visual Arts major at The School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati.  My husband runs our daycare business in Milford. We have a very busy, but exciting life!

Parent(s)/Guardian(s) will receive weekly email updates and reminders from me. (Please be sure we have your current email on file.) Additionally, you can follow me on Twitter @IronsBird and Ludlow Schools @ludlowschools.

Our Mission
The Ludlow Independent School District is committed to fostering a culture
of rigor, excellence, and personal accountability by developing meaningful relationships with students, families, and community members to support and empower students to graduate with college and career readiness skills.

"In an effort to ensure the safety of our students and faculty, please report any threats to our students or school by clicking the S.T.O.P icon. This will direct you to Homeland Security's National Hotline. Be advised. False accusations and false threats are a very serious offense."
