Michael J. Borchers, Superintendent
Mr. Borchers is in his 24th year in education, all spent at the Ludlow Independent School District. His years as a panther have included a number of different roles, including Math Teacher, Coach, Middle and High School Principal, and Director of Curriculum. In the spring of 2011, Mr. Borchers was named as Superintendent of Ludlow Schools. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Education from Northern Kentucky University and his Master's in Education from the University of Cincinnati. He attended Xavier University for both his Rank I Program and his Superintendent's Certificate. Mr. Borchers resides in Taylor Mill with his wife, Susan, also a teacher, and their three children.
Jenny McMillen, College & Career Readiness Coordinator
Mrs. McMillen is in her 23rd year in education, all spent in the Ludlow Independent School District. Before her current role, she served as a Special Needs Teacher and High School Guidance Counselor. Mrs. McMillen earned her Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree from Northern Kentucky University. She also completed a Master's Degree and Rank I Program in School Counseling at Xavier University. Jenny resides in Ludlow with her husband, Woody, and their two sons, both of whom attend Ludlow High School.
Aubrey Cahill, Director of Preschool & Special Education (P-6)
Mrs. Cahill is in her 11th year in education, all spent at Ludlow. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary/Special Education from Bellarmine University, a Master's Degree in Gifted/Talented Education from Northern Kentucky University, and a Rank I in Special Education Director from the University of the Cumberlands. Aubrey lives in Hebron with her husband and three children.
Adam Clary, Director of Special Education (7-12)
Mr. Clary is in his 11th year in education, 10th year in the Ludlow Independent School District. Before his current role, he served as a Special Needs Teacher and High School Co-Athletic Director, Mr. Clary earned his Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Northern Kentucky University. He attended the University of the Cumberlands for both his Master's Degree and Rank I in Director of Special Education. Adam resides in Burlington with his wife, Heidi, a Special Needs Teacher at Ludlow, and their three children.
Kyle Fancher, District Technology Coordinator
Mr. Fancher is in his 7th year in education, all spent in the Ludlow Independent School District. Before his current role of District Technology Coordinator, he served as an Instructional Technology Coach and an Elementary Teacher. Mr. Fancher earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Morehead State University and a Masters in Technology Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands. Kyle resides on his farm in California, KY with his wife, Kristina, and their two sons, one of whom attends Mary A. Goetz Elementary.
Todd Brewer, Director of Maintenance & Transportation
Todd is in his 11th year with Ludlow Independent Schools working with maintenance and transportation, but has been involved with coaching various sports for the last 20 years. He came to Ludlow with 20 years of management experience. Todd is a proud member of the Class of 1987, and his wife, Meredith, the LHS Class of 1989. They reside in Ft. Wright with their children, Will and Elizabeth.
Vikki Wofford, Financial Analyst
Mrs. Wofford is in her seventh year as the Financial Analyst, although she has long had ties to Ludlow Independent Schools. Mrs. Wofford has coached basketball and volleyball at LHS for a number of years. She is also a proud member of the LHS Class of 1990. Mrs. Wofford holds degrees in both Business Administration and Accounting from Thomas More College. Vikki and her husband, Randy, live in Ludlow, where they've raised two daughters, both LHS graduates.
Cheryl Winkle, Administrative Assistant
Cheryl has worked in education for 29 years, with 18 of those at Ludlow Independent Schools. She is an alumnus of LHS, as a proud member of the Class of 1983. Cheryl manages the board of education office and oversees human resources for the district. Cheryl resides in Florence with her twin daughters, and has three boys, two daughters-in-law, and a granddaughter.
