Seeking SBDM Parent Representatives sbdm

The Ludlow PTO is currently accepting nominations for the two parent representatives for the 2021-2022 Ludlow SBDM for each school, Mary A. Goetz Elementary and Ludlow High School.  To be a nominee, you will need to have a child enrolled for next school year in the respective school.  Click this link to submit your nominee: Nomination Link.

SB128, The Supplemental School Year

Parents interested in seeking the Supplemental School Year, as stated in SB128, should complete the APPLICATION and submit it to Superintendent Mike Borchers in the Board of Education by May 1, 2021.  [Please note that May 1st is a Saturday, but that's the date specified in the statute; plan ahead to turn it in by Friday, April 30, 2021.]  The Board of Education will make a decision no later than June 1, 2021 as to accept or deny the Supplemental Year Program.  Parents will be notified as to this decision.  Paper copies of this application may be picked up from Ms. Cloud, Ms. Mahan, or Ms. Trammel in the school/district offices.

LHS Prom prom

The LHS Prom will be held at Great American Ball Park on May 15, 2021, 8:00 PM - 12:00 AM.  There will be both indoor and outdoor areas for attendees to dine, dance, and enjoy time with their friends.  Masking and other safety protocols will be required.  Attendance for anyone who is not a member of the Ludlow High School Class of 2020, 2021, or 2022 will be extremely limited.  All LHS Student Code of Conduct rules, as well as required COVID safety guidelines, will apply to all attendees. Attendees age 21 or older are not permitted to attend.

Tickets are $50 per person, and will only be on sale April 19-30. Only cash or check payments will be accepted (make any checks out to Ludlow High School). We must give final counts to GABP by May 1 to accommodate appropriate spacing requirements.  Current juniors and seniors can purchase tickets from Ms. Collins in Room M309 after school, April 19-30.  Members of the Class of 2020 can purchase tickets from Mrs. Mahan in the school office between 8:30 AM and 3:15 PM, April 19-30.  The GUEST FORM must be completed and approved before tickets can be purchased.  Any guest who is not a member of the LHS Class of 2020, 2021, or 2022 must complete the Guest Form and submit it for approval before their ticket is purchased.

Local Scholarship Applications are Posted! local 21

It's time for our seniors to apply for our local school and community scholarships. The Ludlow community is an extremely generous one. As they plan for life beyond high school, our seniors will find a wealth of support from local families, businesses, churches, and organizations. We are grateful for the continued assistance they give our seniors.  You can find all applications and details for these scholarships on our Local Scholarship page.

All applications and required attachments are due to Mrs. Pam Johnson by 3:30 PM on Friday, April 23. Students, both in-person and virtual, should make arrangements ahead of time if they need help with printing materials. Please don't wait until the last minute! Get these turned in well before the deadline.
