After graduating from Hanover College with a degree in Business Administration, I went back to Thomas More College and received my degree in Education. I then went on to Xavier University where I received my Master of Education.

I started my teaching career at St. Francis Seraph Catholic School in Over the Rhine, teaching grade school P.E. classes 3 times a week. From there I went to R.A. Jones Middle School in Boone County and taught 8th grade Social Studies. I received my first true teaching position in 1995 at Silver Grove Independent in Campbell County teaching High School Business Classes, Computers, High School Health and P.E. and Elementary P.E. After 10 years in the classroom I was hired as the assistant principal at Silver Grove, where I stayed in that capacity for two more years. I left Silver Grove for a stint at Lloyd Memorial High School for 1 year till I was hired by the Ludlow Independent School System in 2008. I will be enjoying my 13th year serving as the Assistant Principal at Ludlow and have Loved every minute of it!!!

I have also coached various sport teams over my 28 years:
