Hello Panther families! It’s been a long time since we have seen the students in our hallways and the LHS faculty and staff can’t wait to see them on Monday! Here are some reminders:
Morning sessions students: Students may begin entering the building through the designated high school doors on Adela Avenue at 7:35 am. Students will have their temperature checked, grab breakfast and then go directly to their first class. Students will not be permitted to linger the hallways and should be in class by 7:50 am. Dismissal is at 11:05 am at which time they can grab a lunch then exit the building through the designated doors.
Afternoon session students: Students may begin entering the building through the designated high school doors on Adela Avenue at 11:45 am. Students will have their temperature checked, grab lunch and go directly to their first class. Students will not be permitted to linger in the hallways and should be in class by 12:00. Dismissal is at 3:15 pm at which time they can grab an after school snack and breakfast for the following morning then exit the building through the designated doors.
Virtual students: Students will continue to log on to Google Classroom. Teachers will be communicating their daily expectations with the students as they will vary depending on grade level. Virtual students can pick up their meals between 12:15 pm and 1:15 pm on Oak Street (Monday – Thursday.)
All students will be working virtually on Fridays. Meals can be picked up between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on Oak Street.
Students should charge their laptop every night and bring it to school fully charged.
All students (and staff) are required to wear a mask at all times. Every student will be provided with a reusable mask or they can wear one from home. Please remember to sanitize and wash your hands often. Hand sanitizing stations are in every classroom and throughout the building. Students will be permitted to bring their own water bottle from home and can refill it at the filling station. Please follow the directional arrows in the hallways and stairs.
